This policy explains what personal data the netorek.fi website processes, why and how. It is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).

What data we process
We only process the data you provide yourself in the contact form:
- name
- company (optional)
- email address
- topic and message
- time of submission and IP address to prevent misuse
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to respond to your enquiry and for related customer communication. The legal basis is the consent you give in the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and, for quote requests, steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
We do not use the data for direct marketing without your separate consent, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
Retention period
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after the last contact. If an enquiry leads to a customer relationship, the data is processed for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act.
Recipients and processors
The data is only processed by Netorek employees whose duties include responding to enquiries. We use the following service providers:
- an email service for delivering messages
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) for spam protection: the service processes your IP address and technical browser data to verify that you are human
The website and the contact form run on Netorek’s own server.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not disclose data to other third parties.
Cookies and tracking
The website does not use cookies or any analytics or tracking tools. Your browser only stores whether you have paused the home page background video, if you do so. Fonts, images and maps are served from our own server. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
Security
The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Form data is transmitted encrypted and access to it is restricted. The form has automatic spam protection.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- be informed about the processing of your data and request a copy of it
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request erasure of your data
- object to or restrict processing
- withdraw your consent at any time
Send your request to the address below. We will reply within one month. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
