Compliance status
The website meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, except for the issues listed below.
What we have done
- the site can be used entirely with a keyboard and focus is always visible
- a link at the top of the page skips straight to the main content
- headings, menus and regions are marked up for screen readers
- text contrast against the background is at least 4.5:1
- the site works at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling
- animations stop if reduced motion is enabled in the operating system
- form fields are labelled and errors are announced as text and to screen readers
- images have text alternatives and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
Known issues
- in the home page background video a person turns their head to follow the mouse; the effect is decorative and carries no content
- the typing animations in the client list and terminal windows are decorative, and the same information is also on the page as text
- the accessibility of external services, such as the Vihta demo, is the responsibility of that service
